Impressionism, a historical reconstruction:
Félix Bracquemond
(1833-1914)
An impression of his art-works
at the Salon and other exhibitions
Introduction:
On this page you will find an accounted impression of the art-works Félix Bracquemond exhibited at the Salon from 1852-72 (=S), with ‘Les Vinghts ‘ in Brussels in 1885 (=XX-1885), at the ‘Société des Artistes Français ’ from 1881-89 (=SdAF) and with the ‘Société National des Beaux-Arts ‘ from 1891-1907 (=SNBA). I just render works that are (almost) certain. Bracquemond exhibited several works at more than one exhibition, also with the ‘impressionist’ expositions in 1874 , 1879 and 1880 . See my account . In the subscriptions I render the number from the Beraldi catalogue of 1885 (=R85=aR14). Other sources for the pictures are the NYPL digital collection (=aR1=iR61), commons.wikimedia (=iR6) and Google images (iR10). See for the other sources at the bottom of the main page on Félix Bracquemond . See link for explanation of the subscriptions . Enjoy!
